The greatest fashion accessory of the year was a simple, elegant piece of jewelry, shimmering like ice, in the form of a teardrop. It had first appeared around the elegant neck of Dorothy Catalonia, somehow migrating to her ears, and then appearing on her wrists as a bracelet.
Soon, the fashion part of her business started producing them – ridiculously overpriced, of course – including men’s products; wristcuffs, tiepins, the like.
“And that, my dear Commander, is how you get high society to wear bugging devices voluntarily, without them knowing.”
Une shook her head, again glad that Dorothy was on her side.
