Welcome back, everybody!

I hope you all had a good time last year (har har). It is now the first Friday of 2011, which means that it’s time for our next challenge. Your prompt for this week is (double har har): new.

Whatever it is that “new” inspires in you, you are hereby challenged to write about it.
